Cookie Policy
The cookies and browser storage used by the FRAI website.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
1. Scope
This Policy describes the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used on frai.es. Non-essential analytics is disabled unless you actively enable it.
2. Essential Storage
| Name | Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookie_consent | First-party cookie | Records the analytics choice and prevents the banner from appearing on every visit. | Up to 6 months |
frai-guided-brief:{language} | Session storage | Restores the current step, category, timeframe, source and start time of an unfinished project brief in the same browser tab. | Browser session or until submission/reset |
Some interactive article tools may store a checklist state, an article-feedback choice or a recently retrieved currency rate in local storage. These entries support only the requested feature, are not used for cross-site tracking and remain until cleared by the browser or replaced by the feature.
3. Optional Analytics
When analytics consent is enabled, the site loads:
- Google Tag Manager (
GTM-TLJFZ43H), which controls FRAI's Google Analytics configuration. - Google Analytics 4 (
G-CSKWFCSNXH), which measures visits and interactions and may set first-party cookies including_gaand_ga_<container-id>. - Umami, served from
umami.apps.frai.es, which provides aggregate analytics without setting analytics cookies in the current configuration.
Google Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years unless they expire earlier, are deleted, or consent is withdrawn. FRAI does not currently load Matomo, SERPBear tracking scripts, advertising cookies or social-media pixels on this website.
4. Consent Choices
On the first visit you may accept or reject analytics with equally available controls. Essential storage remains active because it records the choice or provides a feature you request. Closing the banner without accepting leaves analytics disabled.
You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing analytics consent updates Google's consent state, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without the analytics scripts.
5. Browser Controls
Your browser can display, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking essential storage may cause the consent banner to reappear or prevent an unfinished project brief from being restored.
6. Contact
Questions about cookies or analytics may be sent to privacy@frai.es. Controller details are available in the Privacy Policy.
